Affiliate marketing Yes or No

Affiliate Marketing: Yes or No?

There’s a discussion going on all over the internet that has to do with affiliate marketing. Most people don’t want to spend their money on marketing at the beginning, and that’s understandable.

It has to be said, however, that affiliate marketing is the easiest way to make money online, and it’s a great way to get started.

Now, before I get started, I just want to mention that affiliate marketing is marketing someone else’s product and getting a cut for sales. Even if you don’t create your own product, you’ll still make money by helping someone sell theirs.

As an affiliate, you don’t have to worry about all the technical stuff like web design, customer service, merchant account, refunds, returns, etc. That’s all handled by the merchant.

So, how can you make money as an affiliate? Well, the easiest way is to have a website or blog and post affiliate links in strategic places. There’s also search engine optimization, and even email marketing, which I don’t recommend. In fact, you want to exhaust all possible, and even more secret, methods to build a list of people to get future sales.

For example, maybe you don’t want to be an affiliate. That’s fine. You can become an affiliate for whatever e-book you can write, if it’s # 1. Or maybe you don’t have a big list, and so what you’ll do, you’ll just send that traffic to other people’s website where it’s a lower risk.

For example, if you sell an e-book that’s priced at $30, and you can get it for $30 online, that’s a $20 mistake, but it’s still a $27 sale, and you still don’t have to worry about refunds, returns, refunds, etc.

Obviously, if you do something that’s not affiliate marketing, you’ll never get a sale because that’s the way that 99% of people will start, and it’s the way that 95% of people on the Internet will end up.

We’ll talk more about what not to do in a future article, but the point here is that affiliate marketing is a great way to get started making money online without having to work so hard. I used to do affiliate marketing, and it’s a great way to get started in the ‘net and make some money.

I mean, you can be an affiliate for anything at all for free, it just requires time and a little patience.

This is great for beginners, but there’s a mistake people make in on of the biggest commission visitors online.and that is they get into affiliate marketing and spend their entire day signing up people before they begin to make any money!

They’ll do everything they can to get you to sign up, but if they don’t make any sales on their first day, they’ll still stick a $20 sign up at the bottom of the page, and go away to do something else.

You can’t do that, and if you go in with the wrong focus, it’s going to be the more downline business for someone else, who’s really making a ton of money off of you, and you just give up.

So what, information products can’t disappear! Free offers take a long time to get money, I mean it is a business, and you’re going to have to spend some money, but you have the money and you know that you’ll make it back by the end of this month.

But sometimes, you can go in the other direction and front end you make an extra $10 a day from your $30 e-books, and then you make an extra $10 a day the next month so you can build more of them, and then you can do that, and so on?

So it’s all well and good if you have a big list, but if you aren’t making any money with affiliate marketing, I mean you’re making money for the merchant, and you’re not making any money for you, then perhaps you need to change your focus.

There’s a whole other world, called niche marketing, that is just waiting for you. Many of the people we meet in the ‘net are making millions of dollars with niche marketing. They treat it like it is some kind of high tech version of a secret, but it really is not.

You just go to any search engine and type in it, like “niche marketing, affiliate marketing, eBay” and you’ll come up with fantastic sites. So basically, what it is, you can target a lot easier, more people will see your site, than if you were to market to someone who just went to Google and typed things in.
